Ewes started lambing April 13th!! All lambs available will be sired by GVF 395 out of good proven ewes. Ewes are lambing twins on a complete forage diet. No lambs available until weaning time which will be mid-summer 2012.
Ewe lamb prices are through 6 months of age, beyond 6 months they are considered breeding age ewes. Lambs are sold after weaning. The average weight of a freezer lamb is 100 lbs.
Ewe lambs- will be born late April - early May 2012, weaning time mid-summer........ $300
Breeding age ewe lambs - will be available late in 2012................................................$350 limited number available
"Cream of the Crop" ram lambs - will be available mid-summer 2012..............start at $350 currently have 6 nice ram lambs to choose from
Feeder lambs under 50 lbs - all lambs are now over 50lbs......................................................... $2.50/lb live weight
Finished freezer lambs- will have a nice supply of finished lambs............................................................... $3.00/lb live weight
We will have lamb cuts available early 2013. Prices per pound will vary with the cut. Check with us if interested in certain cuts or a half of lamb.
